The broad spectrum of Sam Grigorian's oeuvre includes both lage- and small-sized décollages, paper works, using a techique he developed himself, and assemblages made of different papers and other objet-trouve'-materials. His use of form continues to gain explicitness and structural clarity in its confrontation with informel and Minimal Art, yet without sacrificing stylistic diversity. He has developed his own abstract handwriting, achieving the unmistakble syntheses of modernity and tradition.
